Product Details

Solar Mobile Light Tower – 8 m, Wheel Mounted is a device that generates light without a connection to an electrical grid for mineral extraction sites, roads and construction locations. It consists of four lamps that convert electricity into light, a collection of panels that capture 500 W of energy from the sun and a 3.5 kVA electrical arrangement. The system includes batteries shaped like tubes which store enough energy to operate for 8 hours when the sun is not visible. To adjust the direction of the light, a worker moves the 8 m pole by hand. The frame is attached to wheels, which allows a operator to move the machine to a different spot. Because the sun provides the energy, the machine does not burn as much liquid fuel - this lack of combustion results in less sound, fewer gases entering the air and a reduced need for technicians to fix the components.
